How does it work?

Worklogs looks like a text messaging app with the option to turn any message into new thread/conversation. Threads regroup ideas and contextualize conversations. Important thread can be pinned and sorted, or archived when completed.

Conversational NOT databases

Worklogs is ideal for users who handle their work through regular conversations and require frequent follow up. If you organize your life around complex tables and databases worklog is not for you.

Who is worklog for?

Worklogs is ideal for communication between manager and direct reports. Ex.: Teachers/Students. Teacher gives assignment to a student or group of students. Students log their progress and await feedback. Conversation context helps teacher understand indivisual situation (time/place/assignment/progress) and allow them to dig deeper without loosing track of the initial goal.

What is worklog big idea?

Worklogs offers you to store and organize all your communication while retaining the feeling of a simple face to face conversation. It is stupid simple and threads follow human brain logic of organizing ideas in contextualized compartments: People, Ideas, Context.

Why not using Slack, Trello, Asana ?

Three great apps, three very different approach. We love the real time chat from Slack but we could not find anything we said after a while. Asana is a great excel like way of organizing tasks and the conversation within tasks is good but we found it difficulty to contextualize and connect tasks. Trello offers a great visibility and priority system but again the conversation context was missing. Worklog focus on the conversational aspect of knowledge transmission.

Can I have private converstions?

Conversations are only visible to you and your contact/group. You can even message YOURSELF and save all your thoughts and ideas in contextualized and organized threads. Worklogs is a fantastic tool for notes and tasks tracking.

Advanced view

We want to keep worklog stupid simple to use, but an advanced view could fill the gap for power users. Advanced filtering, custom fields (due date, priority, assigned to, pre-requisite…).

Message Objects (templates)

Sometime words are not what you want to track. You can already attach traditional media type to your messages, such as image, video or documents. But Template items will allow the insertion of very specific data such as: time tracking clock, geo-location, tables/data, authenticated media (photo, voice, video), etc…

Artificial Intelligence

Analyzing content input (text,voice,video) to update the related conversations.

Artificial Intelligence – AI reporting

Analyzing all content present in your worklog account to create reports and plans (text, table, visualization) to help you understand and prioritize.

Lean communications / Visual Cues / Media Mode

Images are worth a thousand words they say. We believe contextualized visual communication will be great for kids or language challenged environment like emergency/tactical communications. Ex.:Grocery list, Cleaned up my room, Exit the building following this path, watch out falling debris here.

Forensic Media

Media recorded from within the app are authenticated with server timestamp, gps coordinate, device id and more. Saving photos, videos, sound recording, timelapse with front and/or back camera.

Billing

We plan on integrating quick payments right within the app, so you can bill your customer and keep track of payment within your contextual conversations. If you are used to handle payment face-to-face with handshake you will love it. This could get more powerful as we add extra fields.

Team supervision

Manage a team where you can see all conversation from your subordinates. Dashboard showing special conversations templates: tasks, calls, time clock, gps, …
