Worklogs – Messages
In Worklogs, chat messages are the foundation on which all tasks are built, delegated and documented until completion.

In Worklogs, chat messages are the foundation on which all tasks are built, delegated and documented until completion. The platform converts messages into Threads, Folders, and Pinned messages (Tasks).
Message Creation
Messages support optional titles (recommended) displayed in bold heading H5 style by default. Users can customize title sizes and press ENTER to add message body content. Sending occurs via the arrow icon or Cmd+ENTER shortcut.

Tags
Four available tag types help you organize your work:
- Assign User(s) – Delegate tasks to team members
- Assign Priority – Mark urgency levels
- Assign Status – Track progress (ToDo, Now, Review, Done, Later, WaitingFor)
- Assign Type – Categorize by task type
Tags can be added before sending or via rollover actions on existing messages.
Markdown Support
The platform supports markdown formatting including:
- Headers (
#through######) - Blockquotes (
>) - Bullet lists (
*,-,+) - Code highlighting
- Strikethrough
- Text highlighting
Message Options
Users can access options by clicking/tapping messages for various management functions including editing, moving, pinning, and more.
Message Moving
Users can relocate messages between folders. The system logs moves automatically to preserve context, so you always know where a message came from.
